Kindergarten Cop Trailer Analysis:

 Overview:  is a 1990 American comedy film directed by Ivan Reitman and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as John Kimble, a tough police detective, who needs to go undercover and pose as a kindergarten teacher to catch a  drug dealer Cullen Crisp (Played by Richard Tyson), before he can get to his ex-wife and son. Throughout the journey he embarks on, he discovers his passion for teaching and considers changing his profession to become an teacher full time partially. Pamela Reed plays his police  partner, Phoebe O'Hara, and Penelope Ann Miller plays Joyce, the teacher who becomes his love interest and main romance throughout the movie. The original music score was composed by Randy Edelman. And one of the soundtracks is famous for being known as 'Rain day'.

Mise en Scene: Within the movie kindergarten cop there are several bits of scenery which blend in with the kindergarten theme of the movie. One example is the rosy and colored toys in the classrooms, this represents the innocence of the children and teaching, in stark contrast to john kimbles earlier career as a crime hardened police officer. the movie is also set in California coincidentally where Arnold was actually governor for a number of years during his acting career. As well as that a ferret is introduced halfway through the film to give the kids some discipline, as kimble sees that they have a lack of it, as he says "you lack discipline!!". The ferret is used as a mascot for the kids and they gradually warm up to him as a result. 

Also in the movie at the beginning we see the mall setting where kimble as a detective is trying to catch a mega criminal, the criminal says "this man is crazy hes trying to kill me!!!!", during the scene we see shopping center scenery and salons, this is done effectively and well because it showcases the showdown between kimble and the main antagonist, Dominic's father.

Editing: the editing within the movie is mainly vague but there are details of editing done, for example in the shots where kimble is running out of the building shouting "argghh", only the schools front is shown, this is because the the angle shot is a front shot. Also the dialogue within the movie was edited as well, Arnold's strong Austrian accent had to be improved upon as he was acting now, and so he needed to perform the right accent to get the job.

Camera shots and sound: the camera shots and sound within the movie are varied and make the movie look even better, for example the pov shots which we can see Arnold's facial expressions, of disbelief, anger and even desire, as he meets his love interest Joyce. we see over the shoulder shots as Arnold is talking to his police officer friend, in one scene, we see a two shot of Arnold and Joyce getting romantic in a dinner scene, this scene portrays the growing romantic interest between the pair.

The sound within the movie includes both diegetic sound and non-diegetic sound for example when kimble screams, this is diegetic sound as it blends in with kimbles actions and expressions, some non-diegetic sound includes when the background music comes on when kibmel is seen with joyce's son, this playes a dark,gritty theme to blend in well with the movie and predict a final battle between good and evil almost.
